Privacy Policy

Swaglift Software s.r.o. (“Swaglift app”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website https://swagliftapp.cz and the Swaglift mobile application for iOS and Android (together, the “Service”).

By creating and using a user account in the Service you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to this Privacy Policy.

In a nutshell

We only collect the data we need to build your training plan, analyse your technique and keep the app working.

What we collect: registration and onboarding data (name, email, age, gender, height, weight, goal, fitness level), the exercise video or motion data derived from it for AI technique analysis, and, with your consent, health data from Apple Health / Health Connect (sleep, “readiness”, weight).

Why: your training plan, AI technique analysis, support, improving the app, and news (if you opt in).

Who we share it with: trusted providers (Apple, Google/Firebase, Anthropic, Microsoft Azure) bound by confidentiality. Data is stored primarily in the EU.

What we don’t do: we don’t use health data for advertising and don’t sell it. We never see your card number.

Your rights: access, correction, deletion and withdrawal of consent at any time. Just email podpora@swagliftsoftware.cz.

What personal data we collect

Data you enter at registration and plan setup: name, email, age (date of birth), height, weight, gender, fitness goal, fitness level and other data that help us build and adjust your training plan.

Data from the AI technique analysis feature: when you use this feature we process a recording of your exercise. On iOS the video itself is uploaded. On Android only motion data (joint angles over time) is derived from the video directly on your phone, and only this derived data is sent to our servers. From this data we create the technique analysis and recommendations. Some of this data may qualify as biometric data under certain laws, although we do not use it to re-identify individuals.

Health and fitness data from Apple Health / Health Connect: if you grant system consent, we read data such as sleep duration, heart-rate variability and the derived “readiness”, and body weight from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). This data is used solely for the Service’s features (statistics, adapting your training). We do not use it for advertising and do not sell it. In line with Apple HealthKit terms, we do not share Apple Health data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Payment data: we do not collect your payment card details. Payments are processed directly by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google).

Usage and technical data: information about how you use the Service, crash diagnostics and basic analytics (see Service providers and third parties).

How we use your data

To provide and maintain the Service and to create personalised training plans and AI technique analysis.
For customer support.
To improve the Service (analytics, diagnostics, usage measurement).
To notify you of changes to the Service.
To detect, prevent and address technical issues.
To send news and offers, unless you have opted out.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your data on these bases:

Performance of a contract: providing the Service and paid features.
Your consent: in particular for health data and biometric data from video (special category data under Art. 9 GDPR), for marketing communications and for optional analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Legitimate interest: securing and improving the Service, where not overridden by your rights.
Compliance with a legal obligation.

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. After you delete your account we delete or anonymise your data, except data we are required by law to retain.

Service providers and third parties

We use the following processors to operate the Service. They have access to your data only to perform tasks for us and are bound by confidentiality:

Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store payments (In-App Purchase). https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

Google / Firebase: Google Sign-In, Google Play payments, Firebase Analytics (analytics), Firebase Crashlytics (crash diagnostics), Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications). https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy/ and https://policies.google.com/privacy

Anthropic, PBC (USA): the “Claude” service, which generates a text output (feedback, recognised plan) from the submitted data (technique analysis findings, text of a submitted plan). Anthropic processes this data to generate the response and does not use it to train its models. https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy

QuickPose / MediaPipe: technology for motion recognition from video. Analysis runs mainly directly on your device.

Microsoft Azure: application hosting and data storage. Our servers and storage are operated in the European Union.

We may use anonymised or aggregated data (especially from technique analysis) to improve our own detection models and the Service.

Transfers outside the EU

Most data is stored in the EU. Some providers (Anthropic, Google, Apple) may process data in the United States. In such cases the transfer is based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or another appropriate safeguard under GDPR.

Analytics

On the web and in the app we may use analytics services (Firebase / Google Analytics) to measure and improve use of the Service. On the website, analytics and marketing cookies load only after you give consent via the cookie banner.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use essential cookies (for functionality and login) and, after your consent, analytics cookies for usage statistics. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time, but some features may then be unavailable.

Payments

Within the Service we offer paid products and subscriptions. Payments are processed by third-party providers: the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). We do not collect or store your payment card details. You provide them directly to the payment processor, which complies with the PCI-DSS security standard.

AI analysis and biometric data

When you use AI technique analysis, we process the video (iOS) or motion data derived from it (Android) together with data such as height and weight, and create a technique analysis and recommendations. We operate this feature on the basis of your explicit consent. We may use anonymised data to improve our models. You can withdraw consent to this use by contacting support.

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, to object and to withdraw consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (uoou.gov.cz). We handle requests at podpora@swagliftsoftware.cz. We may verify your identity before responding.

Data security

We use pseudonymisation, encryption and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we implement reasonable measures to protect your data. In the event of a data breach we will notify you by email within 72 hours.

Children’s privacy

We do not target the Service at children under 16 and do not support its use by this age group.

Disclosure of data

We may disclose your data where required by law or in response to a valid request by public authorities, or where necessary to protect rights and safety and to prevent unlawful conduct. In the event of a merger or sale, we will notify you before your data is transferred.

Links to other sites

The Service may contain links to third-party sites we do not operate. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of every such site. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Changes to this policy

We will inform you of any changes by email or within the Service.
